RTA’s activities are opportunities to express oneself creatively.  Workshops are engaging and innovative, with new classes frequently introduced.  These may include a combination of media, such as  “Art and the Individual”, interpreting paintings through improvisation and monologue.  New plays are developed through writing and performing.

Prisoner steering committees contribute programming ideas and help determine activities and performance projects.  New RTA members are oriented to the program in peer-delivered workshops.

Accademics and professional artists guest lecture, adding extra depth to the program.
