Why Contribute?

 700,000 men and women are released from prison every year in the United States.  Education, employment, family and community connections are critical. For many, RTA is the first step – a glimpse into the possibility of a better life.

How do we use your donations?

RTA currently operates in 5 prisons spread over 3 counties in New York State.  Your contribution helps pay for curriculum development, volunteer training, books, scripts, program supplies and transportation to remote prisons.  Donations help us videotape performances in prison and mail DVDs to prisoner families.
